    Singapore: Singapore's top female badminton player 23-year old Gu Juan has quit the Singapore national team. According to a statement from the Singapore Badminton Association (SBA), the world No. 22 Gu Juan Gu Juan is the best female badminton player in Singapore

    Gu Juan is the best female badminton player in Singapore
    submitted her resignation on April 30, she expressed a “desire to look after her aging parents and nagging injuries”.

    She will not be representing Singapore in the upcoming Uber Cup finals in New Delhi from May 18 to 25.
