• Chayut Triyachart quits Singapore badminton

    PASIR GUDANG: Lee Meng Yean-Lim Yin Loo are fourth-ranked women’s doubles for Malaysia. No one expected them to go too far in the Malaysia Open GP, but they've demonstrated their fighting spirit yesterday by defeating third seeds Shinta Mulia Sari-Yao Lei (world No. 20) of Singapore 21-17, 22-20  to reach the semi-finals of the Malaysia Open Grand Prix Gold at the Pasir Gudang Municipal Stadium.Lee Meng Yean (front) and Lim Yin Loo beat Shinta Mulia Sari-Yao Lei of Singapore 21-17, 22-20 in the Malaysia Open Grand Prix Gold quarter-finals.

     

    This performance could further strengthen their bid for a place in the Uber Cup Finals squad. They will play against they will take on Ou Dongni-Xiong Mengjing of China in the semi-finals.
