"My dad has been praying for me to triumph in Copenhagen, I hope his prayers get answered," said Tommy.
Despite the many differences and adjustments Tommy has to make, Tommy felt Copenhagen provided him a great atmosphere to thrive.
"Even though I have to adjust myself to the temperature, time, and food in Copenhagen, but I feel good sparring in Europe, because the shuttlecock used matches with the shuttlecock I've been using. Furthermore, I can control the drift much better in Ballerup Super Arena compare to other stadiums in Asia," added the number one men's singles player of Indonesia.
Tommy and the Indonesian teams had their first training session that lasted for one an hour on Saturday.
