Kuala Lumpur: When it comes to serving up great fashion style on the badminton court, Lee Chong Wei clearly knows what he is doing. Few years ago, his bright and eye-catching yellow badminton sneaker was particularly favorable for trend-following badminton fans.

On Friday, the world number 1 shuttler was once again showed us how to stay on top of the badminton fashion heap by embracing a uniquely fashionable color - pink.

At the World Championships in Copenhagen from Aug 23-31, Lee Chong Wei will be wearing a new specially designed pink attire, together with a custom made pink racquet and a very stylish pink and purple badminton shoes.

 

"Some people think pink is very "feminine", but the truth is a lot of trendy, modern men like to wear pink, and I've decided to switch from yellow to pink at the world meet," said Chong Wei.

"This pink series has been exclusively designed for me, hopefully wearing the color can make a difference in World Championships," added Chong Wei.

 

Donning this special new gear, we hope Lee Chong Wei could capture his first World Championships title in Copenhagen.
