It was an all Nigerian affair in the women’s doubles final, as Dorcas Adesokan and Maria Buraimoh displayed good combination to beat Tosin Atolagbe and Fatima Azeez 21-19, 22-20.

It would have been a Nigerian doubles show but the duo of Jinkam Bulus and Ola Fagbemi settled for second place in the men’s event after losing to the current African champion, South Africa’s pair of Andries Malan and Willem Viljoen 21-10, 22-20.

In the men’s singles, the tournament’s number one seed, Israel’s Misha Zilberman lived up to expectation after overcoming Austria’s Luka Wraber 21-15, 21-12 to win the prize money of $1,830, while Italy’s Jeanie Cicognini recorded a comfortable victory defeating Slovakia’s Martina Pepiska 21-19, 21-9.
