WONG Mew Choo's (pic) will be aiming to maintain her fine record against China's top four in the Malaysia Open at Putra Stadium on Jan 10-15.

Mew Choo, the eighth seed, secured a hat-trick of victories over the top three players -- World No 3 Zhu Lin, World No 2 Zhang Ning and World No 1 Xie Xingfang -- en route to the China Open title in November. Image

KUALA LUMPUR: Former national doubles star Chan Chong Ming has made a quick return from retirement to renew a partnership with Chew Choon Eng.

PETALING JAYA: The last one-year has been a roller coaster ride for Yap Kim Hock as the national chief coach of the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM). 

He's had his ups – Lee Chong Wei and the men's pair of Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong and women's player Wong Mew Choo did well.
